Wow! Wow! Wow! Where do I begin?
First, I found this on Ze Web Gadgets (French widget site–I don’t speak French either) anyhow…
Finetune.com allows you to pick Three tracks from each artist. These tracks are added to your playlist. You can then put your playlist on your blog in either of two ways. Iframe or Flash embed. (MySpace friendly) I have decided to try out both. I put the Iframe in the sidebar and I going to try out the Flash embed in this post. Each widget contains the same playlist.
Picking the tracks was as simple as could be expected. Based on the artist/track you searched or added to your playlist, similar artists were displayed in a box on the right. This made picking 45 tracks very easy. Even easier is the option to have Finetune pick your tracks for you. Say you have 20 tracks and are pressed for time, dinner is ready or something. You can click on the I’m lazy button and Finetune will select the rest of the tracks for you. Now I would assume that the tracks that are picked for you are from similar artists. Duh!
Once you have filled your playlist you can click on the link to add this to your blog. Easy easy.
The widget has play and pause buttons and volume controls. There is a link to your playlist on Finetune and Album covers are displayed too.
Tracks are switched by clicking on the left or right of the album covers. Once you use this you will see what I am talking about.
This rocks

Glad you like it! Drop me a line if you have any more feedback. –mykel
This music player is awesome. Like the UI and layout. But did you notice that the tracks played for something like 15-20 seconds… So, its not like you get to hear complete songs. Have you experienced this?
I started using FineTunes yesterday evening and last night (and today), I cannot access the 30 second song samples. The is no solutions forum for this app and it is very frustrating. I sent an email to FineTunes but I’m not confident it will be answered… I like the application though it has it’s limits.
@joanna:
yes unfortunately finetune is very hit or miss in those terms. for what you are looking for, would recommend going with Deezer, Pandora or Radio.Blog.Club
