Snappoll.com A super easy poll widget.

Snappoll.com
Snappoll has a very easy to setup poll widget. There is no sign up, no registration, no out of pocket expense. That means this rocks. The setup is so easy to understand. No “Techie” terms or definitions..at least none that I could remember. Just type your question, add your possible answers, give your poll a title(my title…Widgets Lab…thats original!) Choose the size of the poll (dimensions) and pick the colors. The color chooser covers header/footer and body also text. Unfortunately the color selector thingy is stuck in an Internet Explorer dominated past. So I recommend for color choices Visbone.com
Adding a poll to your blog allows you to ask your readers a question on a popular topic or query them on things they would like to see on your blog. This allows you to tailor your content to what your readers tastes are. Now whether or not you want to do this is, obviously up to you.
Once you have made all the changes to your poll, you should be able to press the refresh button to see a preview poll. Now you are ready to grab the code to put it on your blog. Each blog platform differs on what you can install. This poll is a Javascript and those are the hardest to get into a blog. MySpace doesn’t allow them. Neither does Wordpress.com. I believe Blogger allows javascript, as I’m sure others do as well.
If you have no idea how to place this poll on your blog and no ammount of forum help will do any good…Snappoll.com allows you to link to your poll on their site. If you can’t link to another site…I suggest doing something different than blogging!
I will be visiting this topic often. Polls one of my favorite types of widgets to write about.
