30boxes.com has seen the absolute importance of widgets. With thousands of new blogs created everyday…widgets, badges and all other things that help bloggers customize their blog will become wildly popular.

30boxes.com has taken their online calendar and created a mashup called 30 boxed. What this means is they are allowing you to create a custom widget based on their calendar. You are able to add RSS feeds, photo links etc. You’re creating a visual timeline.

No subscription is needed

I of course plugged in the Widgets Lab.com RSS feed to see what happens…..here we go

This is sweet!
You are creating a calendar based visual representation of a blogs posts or if your photo host has RSS capabilities…your photo stream.
Mouseover any of the days to get text displaying titles. Click on any of the days to get actual links to the posts or …whatever you have plugged into this awesome widget.

It is an awesome widget! If I’m going to use it, I have to figure out how to modify the images in my posts so they look a bit better in 30boxes. It would be a killer visual RSS ticker thingy.
