Askimet just stopped the 10,000th piece of spam sent to this blog. Hooray!
I believe spammers are concerned about me…they care!
Who else wants me to have extra hard wood while I gamble online, search for mortgage and insurance quotes and view animated sheep porn on my mobile phone? I love you spammers!

Pushthings.com gives you easy access to the MySpace music player and a bunch of music from popular artists MySpace profiles. Simply copy and paste the artists MySpace URI into the field and then press the generate button.
Grab your code and drop it into your profile editor. You can even put it on to a blog if you want! Notice it here playing some Tesla.
There are some annoying ads on the Pushthings page. But thats to be expected. However if you don’t like the link/banner that Pushthings seems to add to your page, you need to edit the code before you paste it into your profile.
Delete this from the code
<a href="http://www.seekcodes.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.seekcodes.com/support.gif" alt="Myspace Layouts" style="position:absolute; left:0px; top: 0px;" border="0" width="150" height="150"></a> After that you should be golden!
Unfortunately the extra code you see at the bottom has to do with the posting format. It will disappear when you put it into your profile.
This is the logo that I was trying to incorporate.(thumbnail) I would suggest a smaller image and make sure that it has a lowercase .jpg file extension. Uppercase will not work! (yet)
Also, if you would like to add Widgets Lab news to your MySpace or others…just click on the link at the bottom of the widget. Or Get This Widget

Would you like to share them with your blog visitors?
Then this is for you!
Using the awesome power of Grazr.com together with the quality content from Widgets Lab.com You can share all of these widget reviews with your site visitors in an attractive side bar widget.
This widget is designed to fit most any sidebar.
If you want custom sizing, simply edit the code to change the “width” from 100% to whatever number you want. Example: 100% replaced by 175px to get a 175 pixel wide widget.
Simply highlight and copy the code below.
Then edit your blogs template to add the code to your sidebar.
The widget I am trying out simply displays the flag from the country your visitors are coming from and how many came from those locations.
the widget also tell you how many visitors you currently have.
Things to know
–There are four widgets to choose from.
–The widget I tried has custom color options including text and background
–I am testing the JavaScript version in my side bar
–The non-Java version I will display in this post.
–This widget is French I believe. I will link the Geovisite English page but some of the text is still in French. Use your common sense.
–You need to sign up to get this widget.
To play click Duck Hunt. Use your mouse to aim and fire
This is a simple Flash widget that you can place on your MySpace profile or your blog.
This game is played using your mouse to aim and fire. Not as easy as the light gun that came with the original. But it’s ok.
If you do decide to put this on your blog, there is an annoying corner badge that will appear on your site. To get rid of the badge delete the following from the code.
Pyzam.com Creature is simply a creature that you create for your profile or blog.
You get to choose the colors of your creature and name the thing as well.
It kinda looks like a “Mickey the monkey vampire“. Unfortunately you can only have a name up to 9 characters long.
You also need to come up with a name that someone else hasn’t already taken.
Supposedly someone can come along and steal my creature. If anyone does I’ll hunt them down and do unspeakable things to them.
If you would like to get a creature of your own. Head over to Pyzam.com/toys/37 to create your creature.
Buzzvote.com a site from attap.com (all things to all people) offers a poll creation tool that allows the addition of images to your polls.
I created a simple poll and included a popular widget image in that poll.
Feel free to vote on the Widgets Lab poll to see how it works.
The poll widget you see on the right is the JavaScript version. I had to add my own borders. I like borders sometimes.
The poll widget you see below is the Flash version. (Works on MySpace) If you want it smaller you need to edit the code a bit to reduce the width and height.
These polls are easy to set up. However finding the code for the widgets is a bit more complicated. There is no large banner that says “Click here for the widget” That may change if they see this post. These things get popular only if they are darn simple to use.
If, for some unknown reason, this widget does not show up in this post, you can view the poll online at widgetslab poll. Buzzvote is kind enough to create a page for your poll so you can simply link to it if you want.
Wikiseek.com claims to be “a better way to search Wikipedia” About Wikiseek
They have provided a way to add their search bar to your blog. Provided you can add JavaScript apps to your template.
There are three Wikiseek widgets to choose from. One tower style widget. Two horizontal style widgets. The two horizontal style widgets differ only in the fact that you can edit one to blend better on your blog. Border color, background color and size are up to you.
