Blotter (Blog Plotter) from Dapper

January 10th, 2007 by Derek Anderson Leave a reply »

Blotter is simply a Blog Plotter. It graphs a blogs popularity over time using Technorati stats.

At first the graph will look pretty plain but after a day you will start to notice movement in the graph bars. (provided you get traffic)

I chose a site at random for display purposes. I picked Emily Chang.com. Very respectable! I avoided the over done TechCrunch thing.

Things to know

–This is an HTML widget that should work anywhere you can access and edit your HTML. (MySpace friendly)
–You need to read and understand the information on the site that provides the code.
–The basic code is customizable. What you see displayed is not the code you copy. You need to add other bits to the code to get a similar widget. Don’t worry. Those bits are provided on site.
–The bits allow you to change sizes and graphing options as well
