4info.net has a widget that allows your visitors to send text messages to your mobile phone.

Keeping in touch is very important these days. Here is another way for your blog/profile visitors to contact you. Your friends and family can also make use of the “Text Me Web Widget” if they know you have it.

Things to know

–This widget is MySpace friendly
–There are four styles to choose from, including PDA and cellphone appearance.
–You can also choose from four different colors. Black, Gray, Blue and Pink.
–The text that appears on your widget is customizable.
–You can even add a small 32px X 32px icon to customize further.

–For security and privacy reasons you can require users to enter their name and number and even a password if you want.
–In order to get this widget you have to enter your mobile number and verify it with a code that 4info.net will text to you.

I think this is a cool widget. The custom options and fields that need to be filled out are easy to understand. That alone makes this widget worth a look.
