is a Bloggers community aimed at promoting users blogs based on community affiliations.
TGB allows bloggers to choose the communities that they want to participate in. If you have a unique blog, you can create a new community based on your blogging tastes. Create a name and a description for your community and add unique tags that describe what your community focuses on.
TGB allows you to promote other community members with a cool RSS/blogroll style web widget. As you promote others their widgets promote you. A web-ring widget of sorts.
Things to know
–TGB widget uses JavaScript. Widget content is updated on each pageview.
–Subscription is required. Not a shock here. Most community type sites require this.
–Widget set up is not point blank easy. You need to spend a little time searching to discover widget settings.
–There are a few color options. Nothing custom or user defined.
–Size options are non existent. Widget is designed to fit the width of the area you are placing it in. Height varies depending on amount of content you decide to display.
–Advertising at bottom of widget.

Summary
I like this idea and the widget.
This widget will get looks.
Because, unlike a blogroll, this widget has content. Headlines for recent posts are a lot more interesting than just a link. If you want another promotional tool for your blog, I suggest giving thegoodblogs.com a try.

Thanx… for giving a link to my blog… I liked the GoodBlogs widget so much so that I am planning to feature the widget in all of my upcoming blogs… In addition to building traffic to our own blogs, this widget will build really large communities of Good Blogs…
