Many more music widgets for MySpace can be found on Customizing MySpace. Widgets, layouts, codes and more
I mistakenly posted based on some clever spam.
I would like to thank the readers for pointing this out.
You guys are what keeps this real!

Pushthings.com gives you easy access to the MySpace music player and a bunch of music from popular artists MySpace profiles. Simply copy and paste the artists MySpace URI into the field and then press the generate button.
Grab your code and drop it into your profile editor. You can even put it on to a blog if you want! Notice it here playing some Tesla.
There are some annoying ads on the Pushthings page. But thats to be expected. However if you don’t like the link/banner that Pushthings seems to add to your page, you need to edit the code before you paste it into your profile.
Delete this from the code
<a href="http://www.seekcodes.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.seekcodes.com/support.gif" alt="Myspace Layouts" style="position:absolute; left:0px; top: 0px;" border="0" width="150" height="150"></a>
After that you should be golden!
Unfortunately the extra code you see at the bottom has to do with the posting format. It will disappear when you put it into your profile.

This isn’t a widget, it’s a gimmick (and illegal). Given that they’re simply scraping MySpace pages for MySpace’s SWF music player and then embedding their logo over it, I think it won’t be long before this gets shut down.

Thank you Paul!
Sometimes I get blinded by the sheer amount of stuff out their to look at and check out.
This came to me in the form of spam. That I did not catch it, is sad.
I’ll work harder

I HAD A MYSPACE ARTIST PLAYER FOR MY OWN MUSIC AND I LOST THE CODE. I WENT TO GENERATE A NEW ONE BUT IT WONT WORK UNTIL I DELETE OR DISABLE THE OLD ONE..HOW DO I DO THAT?

You are going to have to edit the code in your “About Me” section of your MySpace page. Find the old code and delete it from their. Then install the new code that you create at the pushthings.com site. If it’s the other way around and the problem is at pushthings.com…then I won’t know how to fix that issue.

Samantha,
I recommend looking through the list I have created of widgets that work on MySpace. There are many more music related items than just this one.

I think you should consider one of the alternatives such as iVoon or slacker.com I have written about both widgets and each one works real well.
