WorldCat search box–Search for books at the Library

WorldCat.org references over 1 billion items in more than 10,000 libraries worldwide.
WorldCat provides you with a nice search box widget for your blog or MySpace profile.
It’s free, fast and simple to put WorldCat search on your personal, professional or commercial Web site. Your users can enter their own search terms in the box and find additional, verified information beyond the scope of your site.
The box is available in two widths. The HTML code as provided is best suited for light-colored Web page backgrounds; however, you can adjust the embedded styles to have the box’s appearance conform to your site’s look and feel.
This is an easy way to search for books that interest you, see if they are at your local library and check them out. If the book you want isn’t in…you can request it and be notified when it arrives.
This is a Widget in the Wild…I accidentally found it.
The code is completely editable if you are comfortable doing that sort of stuff.
This is a working version of the widget.
note: you will need to register to get the code.
