by Derek Anderson Stumble this! April 05th 2007

Some widget news found on the net this morning.

Vizu.com has been added to the Wetpaint widget gallery, which already includes the likes of YouTube, Photobucket, and other leaders in self-generated web content. “As the exclusive provider of do-it-yourself web polls to Wetpaint, Vizu will enable hundreds of thousands of Wetpaint users and communities to add greater interactivity to their wikis and to share opinions with each other,” said Vizu CEO Mack Tilling.

Vizu will help site contributors answer everything from simple affinity questions to more complex public opinion queries on foreign policy or medical research.

Collaborators have already incorporated Vizu web polls to thousands of Wetpaint wiki sites including sites for “CSI,” “Amazing Race,” “Survivor,” “Lost,” “College Hill,” “Star Trek,” James Bond, and NASCAR. Vizu web polls are also serving community sites covering topics such as pets, music, gardening or home improvement, as well as collaborative groups discussing cancer research, Alzheimer’s and politics, to name a few.

“Enabling Vizu’s best-in-class web poll widget on Wetpaint is another important step toward our goal of providing people with the best possible platform to collaborate and communicate online,” said Wetpaint CEO Ben Elowitz.
