PollPub.com–Create a community around your poll

PollPub.com is a great place to create a poll around any topic. (and I mean any) PollPub has just released their Beta2.0 version.

…should Paris Hilton do jail time for 3 DUI’s?…which chick is hotter?…what should I name my baby? and on and on…

the cool thing about PollPub.com is the set of options and/or tools that come with each poll you create. For starters…
1. You get to categorize your poll. This makes it easier for other PollPub users to find your poll and add you to their favorites.
2. Each poll gets it’s own page complete with comments section, ratings section, ability to digg and a whole host of social bookmarking options (buttons)
3. There are simple copy and paste options to share your poll via email, blog, IM etc…
4. Polls are embeddable into MySpace, blogs, websites etc…

I do wish that PollPub offered more options with their poll embed feature. Such as custom sizing, creative border options, background color choices, custom text fonts and colors and maybe even some fancy graphic options that are so popular on MySpace. These options would skyrocket PollPub’s popularity on MySpace!

option that allows me to subscribe to a particular poll creator. This way I can know as soon as they create a poll and pop in to vote and maybe comment. This would be a huge boost to PollPub’s traffic. Just make sure that the poll question and answers are in the feed but you have to go to the PollPub site to vote/comment.

I visited PollPub.com about a year ago, and just looked at the site again today! A whole lot has changed, things look better, and there are alot more photos and things to click on. Worth checking out… ( or re-checking out in my case! )
