Green Widget–Arbor day growing tree widget

Spring Widgets.com comes through again.

Here is the Arbor Day widget that shows you a count down to Arbor day and displays a tree that grows a bit each day.

This is a cool and unique idea. It doesn’t involve shopping or displaying photos or videos. There are no music lists or links to things I want. It’s neat!

I like the fact that Spring Widgets are available for any web space that allows template editing. I think it’s because Flash is a favorite style of programming for a lot of people.

Myspace, Piczo, Hi5 and most of the mainstream blog platforms work seamlessly with Spring Widgets.

I haven’t seen another “Growing tree” widget out there. If you have please let me know so I can look at it and possibly add it to this post for comparison purposes.
