ABC News utilizing Slide.com widget

Today I happened to see a favorite widget being utilized on my local ABC news site. (nearly at bottom)The Slide.com vertical slide show widget is being used to show images from a recent storm. The photos are actually hosted on Flickr and then run through the Slide.com’s widget.

Excellent!

I think this is a definite indication of the mass adoption of widgets. Some will always be more popular than others.

Video and Photo widgets will rule the roost for a long while.
