ClearSpring announced today (late) that everyone is welcome to use their platform to develop widgets.
Here is the notification that I received this evening…
My Fellow Geeks,
The Clearspring Community Platform is now open (finally) for development. Oh yea, and it’s free.
Now you can use the same technology being leveraged by industry-leading brands across the web to get your widgets out in a jiffy. Use our service to quickly transform your content and applications into cross-platform widgets, syndicate widgets easily across different destinations, and track the spread of your widgets in real-time.
This is just the first step. We plan to open more of our APIs, increase our cross-platform capabilities, and have some pretty neat surprises coming up. Our goal with this release is simple. Provide a basis for us to work together to build the best open platform and community for widget development. We created a developer center with documentation, a forum and a new blog. Please hit those, or email us, so we can jam out and figure out what’s next. We look forward to working with you all.
So what are you waiting for? Create an account and check out our features.
Oh, and by the way…Clearspring is hiring. So if you are a rockin’ developer…check this out.
What a fantastic way to gather the brightest minds in the industry and allow them to develop the coolest widgets to date!
Stay tuned for more exciting developments with the Clearspring co.
