Mobatalk.com appears to come out on July 15th. Who wants to wait till then? Especially when you can see this widget on other blogs. Blogs that don’t even review widgets. Like entrepreneurs-journey.com This is where I was re-introduced to “Mobatalk”. (MyChingo)

I had to “steal” this widget!

How else could I effectively share it with you? Give it a listen! Try it out…however, if you were to leave comments on this widget, you would actually be leaving comments for Yaro Starak over at entrepreneurs-journey.com

Leaving comments results in a new page with a Java applet that allows you to record your comment and include a 2000 character text message.

Prior to my thievery, I emailed Mobatalk (mobasoft) for a “Early release Beta” because of my status as a widget reviewer.

I was denied via an auto mailer…here is that email

All I can say is Mobatalk seems to be a cool widget. It looks cool, doesn’t eat up a ton of space and is flash so you can put it on your MySpace profile. That is, if you still MySpace.
(I heard people were leaving MySpace… like rats fleeing a sinking ship.)

…but then again, this story indicates something different. TechCrunch/MySpace+Yahoo

We make a free standalone windows application that records voice message and upload it to the server, so that it can be played from the web location directly.

Please, take a look: http://sayandpost.com .

Since the idea is just to insert links to voice files and avoid using widgets, may be it is not really appropriate for the widgetlab though

Hello Derek - what you actually have there is available at MyChingo.com (started out April, 2006) and is currently being converted over to my new MobaTalk system. You can sign up for your own audio comment system at http://www.mychingo.com

good call, i checked their two domains and they are dead ends. i wonder if they went belly up.. i will give it a day an call it up in the post if they continue to be dead. thanks for the comment.
