Hello, My Name Is…

Avatar.

Derek already used the sole Avatar as title so i had to come up with another thing. at first, i was gonna add up to that post, but then i said: “I Want My Own Spotlight”. So here we are.

For all of those who don`t know me, and are thinking “Who the EFF is this guy?”.in recent blogging terms?,i was the guy behind Bloggeratto, a blog that tracked the Blogger platform scene, and that made proposals to the Bleet (Blogger Elite) behind it. i took a long 6 month hiatus with the end of the year, that now has officially come to an end in this very post.

Maybe this is also a good opportunity to state that Bloggeratto will come back, that you can expect to see me Blogging about my writing and for better or worse ”me” at Avatar-X along even more places around the web and off of it, since i have decided to make a important transition on my life and live entirely of my writing.

So,don`t worry, you will get to know me as much or little as you want.

Now, passing to the matter at hand: This Blog.

I want to thank Derek for inviting me to participate in widgetslab, i accepted because as with anything i decide to do, i must like the principle or the idea behind a concept; and a Blog about widgets is a interesting thing considering the  current state of the web and beyond. they are everywhere now, from the desktop (Gadgets), to everywhere in the web and now even in our phones (simple connected apps). someone has to check them out and then talk about it. Derek has done it for quite a while now, and as the market demand and offer for widgets increases, it is quite obvious it is not a job for a lone gunman anymore.

I hope to aid Derek well in his quest to find and test widgets, along to make some helpful or insighful commentary from time to time.

All in All, this post is a good excuse to present myself  and say hi to all Widgets Lab readers without extending too much to make Derek mad at me.

3. Thats right , I took the title that I should have known Avatar would want. Did I think of this at the time? No! I was being selfish, grabbing the headline. Go ahead and compare the two posts. Avatar’s entry is long and full of information…a good read. The entry that I wrote…it’s lame and only half as long as this comment.
   I welcome Avatar.
   He will help to balance me. He has very good ideas and his humor is excellent.
