Windows Live Skydrive is the Personal File Hosting previously Known as Windows Live Folders has passed to selected Beta for the USA,U.K and India, making it of the very rare occasions where a Beta Windows Live service is not released worldwide, but since it is about distributed hosting, one can guess the why on that.
With Skydrive, as with many third party services, you will be able to host, manage and share your files to everyone, with the main advantage that those files will later integrate with the Full array of the Windows Live Services and Ecosystem.
And in terms of sharing, if you live in the mentioned regions, you can enjoy of the service and test it out. but also spread them with a Redistributable Badge for Windows Live Spaces and for any website.
