Disease finder widget - VisualDXhealth.com

The Visual DX health widgets are something I haven’t seen before.
There are four widgets in all (that I saw) and they include a iGoogle element that you can add to your iGoogle home page. There is also a Visual DX health search widget that you can put on your blog. Also, all Visual DX health widgets work in WidgetBox.
The cool widget seen above is a JavaScript widget that allows you to pick a region of the body to learn about specific maladies that may affect those areas. Some regional choices such as hands, feet and face include a sub set of areas to choose from. For example , on the hand you can choose fingers or palm. On the Face you can choose chin, mouth, nose, eyes, ears cheeks and forehead. You are also able to choose front or back for your search.
This is a very interesting widget as far as the actual interaction within the widget itself. But it is limited to what you see. There are no custom options allowing you to blend one of these into your blog. this is something I point out all the time. When will “Your choice of colors” be standard?

Derek - thanks for the post regarding our health widgets and for the feedback regarding the ability to “blend” colors with a blog or website. I’ll pass this along to the development team! As a side note, we’re working on our next suite of widgets related to healthcare - this time the widgets will be related to specific conditions. I’ll post an update as we get ready to release these.
