Hi5 is without a doubt one of the Social network that didn`t needed any hype around them to do more than well thanks to their worldwide userbase, something that allowed them to raise 20 million in funding to invest in the growth of the platform.
The first things that we done after that was a a update to the network that made it more stable and faster to use, and made easier to better distribute a user profile, and now the reasons for that has been revealed: Widgets.
Yes, widgets, it was done so user could start adding widgets to their profiles without effort or any of the previous frustrations. and even a profile layout customizer was added to the mix too.
The first widgets offered are partnered widget by slide and rockyou with more to come, a certain good move, this does confirm that the Widget craze continues to rage on.
So, if you have not visited Hi5 because of the previous less than stellar experience, maybe it is time to take another look to it.

woah, woah, my friend, we also cover embedables, and this qualify.. now, slide and rockyou, can be considered a widget for the most part. and for the other they are embeadables, ebedables, usally stream content instead of render or representing a function, like true widgets do.
