Google:Embeddable Maps For Your Blog

Google Maps is the second thing that google hit it big with and that took the world by storm, it has generated lots of hacks, mods, tips, tricks and mash-ups since then. lots of the focused on bringing those maps to a blog.
Today that comes to an end because Google just launched a option so you can use them as embedables in your website, blog and social network.
It is not a everywher widget, it is optimized code by google placed on a styled iframe, but considering what you had to do to get a map working well in a blog one year ago. i doubt people will complain too much.
You can go to the Google Maps Blog and check out the tutorial to customize your map and get to see how a embedable map looks in the wild.
So, you wanted maps, now you got them, try away.
