The Yahoo! ‘Gas Alert Savings’ widget.
Just in time for the Labor Day mass exodus into whats left of the country. This little Yahoo! beauty allows you to select gas stations within a certain radius from your zip code. The information comes directly from automotive.com.
Each listing comes complete with an icon (major brands only) with distance to store and a street address to make things easier. A fuel type selection is also available.
I noticed that a phone number for each gas station is missing. Not that this is a major concern, but these places are generally convenience stores as well so it might be nice to be able to call and see if they have that ever elusive king size Snickers or maybe some baby wipes.
You must have Yahoo! widgets installed in order to make use of the ‘Gas Savings Alert‘ widget.
