Naked starlets seem to be popular!

Friday night 9/6/2007 I wrote a post about a widget dealing with the news about Vanessa Hudgens getting naked. I even went so far as to create a widget featuring news related to Vanessa Hudgens.

This has become a wildly popular post. It has received more traffic than any other post on this site with the exception of the Myspace widgets list that I created.

I have to give a lot of credit to the absolutely wonderful Spotplex.com service and related widget you will see in the sidebar. This widget basically displays your most popular posts in any 24 hour period. If your posts become popular, such as the Vanessa Naked Widget post, it gets displayed prominently on the Spotplex main page as a popular post thats moving up.

Viral
I recommend this widget to anyone that is interested in seeing the popularity of their posts. Of course there’s also the possibility of your posts going viral. The name of the game is traffic. The more traffic you get, word starts to spread and you get even more traffic. The hard part is getting those first few thousand hits to turn into repeating traffic.
