When Widgets turn a page into a toxic junkyard

Since i joined Derek in Widgets Lab i had tu turn part of my time to surf places i usually went as a matter to invovle myself in the knowledge of checking widgets out in the wild sort of speak.

there is little i don´t know about them and doing widgets reviews was also something that was not foreign to me because i used to do it in Bloggeratto and i did it quite a few times there.

But there are places where widgets from different context code live, some profiles in myspace, some blogs in blogger, some in wordpress that not only turned the blog unusable but in to a death note to anyone who dares to visit sending more errors to the browser than a hacker virus breach, and what is worse sometimes it is not even the fault of the profle owner, sometimes are old profile running some outdated widget or widget that were neglected by their creators. this complements very well what derek stated in his latest rant from my point of view here. but there is even more, take for instance Randy morin take on the matter where the problems start from the platform itself along with the widget provider:

The State of Broken Widgets

It is a good read for those handling widgets and a way to know that of course you are not along with such widget struggles, even the pro´s suffer it too.
