Politicalbase.com offers Flash campaign 2008 widgets
Politicalbase.com is a very informative site that contains a lot of data about the various candidates for the 2008 U.S. Presidential election. You can easily see and compare candidates and their issues, fund raising and other important factors.
Is the site without bias? Hard to tell. As with anything political, its hard to keep your feelings and opinions out of the content. There are blog elements to this site as well as a social community.

What is Political Base?
Our hope is that Political Base will be your source for lively conversation and information on political issues, candidates and opinion. We have used publicly available data and media resources, such as the FEC and YouTube videos to enhance the conversation. The rest of our content is contributed by our bloggers, community and moderators.
There are widgets.
The widgets I have found deal mainly with campaign contributions.
As you can see by the images there is a map style element that depicts how much money has been donated from the people in each state. Look further and you can narrow the widget down to display a county breakdown from an individual state.
Another feature allows you to select which candidates are represented in your widget. (up to 4)
Myspace?
Each widget is billed as being Myspace friendly. However, I have seen the code for at least one of the widgets and it plainly had JavaScript elements.

This would be a great way to focus you readers attention on the candidates you support and maybe help generate donations for them.
