Mapkit makes adding a map to your blog easy!

The map above is a Google map of Portland Oregon and surrounding area. It was easily created and placed on widgets lab in about 2 minutes. Your visitors can grab a copy of your map or they can create their own.

What a great way to let everyone know where the party is going down. Unfortunately this map requires JavaScript. This lets out the whole Myspace crowd. But wait… the Myspace users could easily create their own map and then ‘Screen Capture’ it and then paste the image to their profile. So I guess everyone can use this cool map tool from Mapkit.

Social mapping
Registration is required. But this is to set you up with a map profile so you can have multiple maps and can see what is going down on each map. Your profile also includes an avatar and a list of buddies. Also don’t forget you can keep track of markers on various maps as well.
