An excellent refinance tool
Forget the housing market slump, you didn’t want to sell anyhow. However, a refinance might just be in order. As new borrowers become harder to find, interest rates will fall. This will make refinancing attractive to those that are facing balloon payments or adjustable rates.
I see this widget as a great addition to any lending or mortgage affiliate site. Give the customers the tools they need to get the information they want.
The creators of this Mortgage Calculator Widget have indicated that there may be an affiliate/commission structure associated with this widget. What this means is that any customers that you refer to the parent company, via this widget, will earn you a generous affiliate commission. Details of this program are still being worked out.
The Calculator widget is still in beta at this time. Widgets Lab was chosen to be one of the first testers of this new blog add-on.
The Calculator Widget has 11 different set-up options for different types of calculations. Refinance, Affordability, Payment etc… There are 5 different color options at this point. (I would recommend a completely custom color array) The sizing is set to auto-fit any location it is place into. Perfect for a sidebar location, not so good for a wider post area. Also this is a JavaScript built widget.
I have included a working version in the sidebar so you can try it out and maybe grab a beta version for your own blog.
