Google Reader Blogrolls: add to Blogger, add anywhere

November 8th, 2007 by Avatar X Leave a reply »

Google Reader just added the option to let you display your shared items in your blog as a Blogroll even if Google refers to it as a “clip” instead of calling it what it is but whatever, you both know what it is.

Blogrolls where some of the prefered widgets from the old days and they really havent changed much over time, but the interesting angle of this blogroll is that it not only works as promotion for what you read in ther form of “link love” but that is comes as a after thougth of your feed reading making them not only more relevant but also easier to update, change and use in more than one destination along the way.

So it may be worth a look to everyone using the service.

The blogroll comes with the option for blogger as a one click page element install so ifyou use blogger it should be a less than one minute ordeal to place it in your blog, for everyone else you got to customize your blogroll a little more and grab the generated code as usual.
