the first Relevant widget news that has come from Joost Developer Days is that Meebo will be providing chat capabilities inside the Application as a Joost widget, something that was quite a surprise to everyone but that after some thought comes as a natural and full of promise partnership that could lead to Joost Content integration inside Meebo rooms or even as a application along the IM session windows thanks to Meebo own new Platform for third party app integration.
One thing i can be sure of, it would be very beneficial for both if executed right and it will help Joost in its battle for relevance now that Hulu and Livestation are approaching and seem to be a serious potential threat to Joost besides it`s own competitors.
