PodBean: Podcast Embeddable Player

November 9th, 2007 by Avatar X Leave a reply »

There are many widget that enable to put music or a your own audio in your blog by track or in a player, but not many offer it as a extension of a full podcasting solution like Podbean.

Podbean will host your podcast, promote it, place it and  finally distribute it in a widget so you can put it in your blog and concentrate on doing your show.

If you are podcaster, it makes sense to belong to a podcast network like podbean because it is a good way to leverage some of the niggles of doing a podcast show and also becuase it can place you in a better way so you can find an audience.

Podcasting has not been stopped by video casting in 2007 and it will be reaching mainstream level in 2008 thanks to the fact that podcast networks will no longer depend solely on the itunes directory because other music stores and marketplace have arrived to compete, most notable mention is the addition of full integrated podcast support to the zune devices and software and that windows media player 12 will integrate podcasting as well, something that will help podcasts to really explode into new territories as others will embrace it and buff up their offerings.

So if you got a podcast, podbean is  a good option to get into a podcast network.

The embedded player is nothing really special and this case it may b argued it could have better style and customization but what really counts more is the service powering, but it would be nice if they could offer more look customization.
