BillyWarhol: I really must protest when people call George Bush anything even closely related to christianity. You see, the main is deceived. He is a universalist. This is clearly stated in his 2004 interview with Charlie Gibson you’ll find on youtube. His words are ‘there is more than one path to God’ when asked about his belief. #1 belief of christian faith is that Jesus is the only way. GW denied Christ when he said that and has repeated it in other interviews since. It is confounding to me why the ‘christian wrong’ ignore his statements and even continue to support him and his ilk (Huckabee) Also, the biggest alleged christian numbers in the GOP are evangelical, very different from fundimentalist. I do however understand your concern about this neochristian influence in our government. It is a valid one and my belief is that Ron Paul is not influenced by anything except his own oath toward the Constitution. His record and life of integrity proves it. His views are what a true conservative and yes, Rebublican used to be. For now we are stuck with our two totally rotten party system and I think Ron Paul realizes he must work within that to be successful. Someone said ‘if you can’t join ‘em, beat ‘em’ They don’t call him Dr. No for nothing!

I hear what you are saying. However, we need to rescue the Republican party and bring it back to what it once was (i.e. sane and honorable). Lincoln was a Republican.

We need Ron Paul to save the Republican party. We need Ron Paul to save America.

And like Ron says, we found him. He is the vessel by which the american people will seize back our freedom.

I’m a hardcore Christian fundamentalist and I think BUSH SUCKS. I’m sick of the neocons hijacking the Name of our Lord and using it to buy votes. So don’t think that all us “fundies” just swallow down the neocon lies hook, line, and sinker… far from it. I, along with plenty of my other “fundie” friends, are voting Ron Paul this election.
