Yahoo! Go 3.0 Beta: Now with Mobile Widget Engine and Platform

I expected Yahoo! Mobile to bring Widgets to phones, i just didn´t expected the announce to happen so fast. i guess that is what happens when you know you are on a war against Google in Widgets/Gadgets terms.
But it happened, and it was part of Yahoo CES Keynote where Yahoo showed that they are re-thinking the company as fast as they can, and for what came out of that keynote, it shows that Yahoo is on the right way to archive so.
On this Mobile Widget engine, what can be told right now is that they will start with partnered widgets coming from big companies like Ebay and MTV to test drive the engine and encourage other third party developers and companies to step up into it in the same way that a lot have done in the desktop version of the engine.
Another incentive for the using the engine is that it will also have monetization thanks to mobile ads along partnered promotions.
all in all, is pleasing to see how fast changes and information of change is happening this year, lets see if things can keep up the pace.
