From something that slipped through because i thought i had already posted it, was the news of Facebook taking a stance against Google Opensocial directly by allowing Facebook derived Applications on to regular sites, blogs and other social networks from the App developer side.
This goes beyond just been able extend Facebook reach to other Social Networks, but also means spreading it into the web. this is the true destiny and vision of facebook after all, serve as both a distributor and platform of Applications, all while leveraging not only resources into these Apps but also Facebook biggest power card = the Facebook Social Graph.
That is Facebook game, and while it will take years to bear fruits in the way it was envisioned, this is a good start.
So in the end not only your favorite Facebook Widget-app will be at your other social networks but will also get to be in your blog.
