Pijoo is a Service and Widget Derek posted about not that long ago that we both liked enough to test in on Widgetslab. at the time it was just a good alternative to MyBlogLog without to much identity on their own.
With the recent update, that sure has changed for good, it has a more defined, alluring look and a more cohesive brand indentiy.
But if i had to compare it with the idea they took it at first ( MyBlogLog) and what they seem to be doing now, i would have to say that they have chosen to bridge two already established concepts so it now more like a fusion of MyBlogLog and BlogCatalog ideas into their own perspective.
So you can join a community of users and also interact more in a social context that refers directly to both you and your blog.
The widget now looks and works better with the new pijoo community.
The update is solid and the new direction of Pijoo should be of interest for Bloggers looking to promote themselves and their blogs and that want to engage in interaction with other Bloggers as well.
For users it can be a valuable way to find new cool blogs to read and follow.
