If you mean the default calendar gadget, and what you mean was erasing it from the vista sidebar, then you only need to either load up the gadget dashboard from the upper controls in the vista sidebar or go to start, then look in the desktop search for Sidebar and you will find the sidebar gadget dashboard from where to put it back on the Sidebar.
