This is something i find amusing. it is common to get certain free things when you buy a new phone from a carrier, most often than not, you get branded crap from the carrier bundled into the phone that they gloat of giving you freen, even if you are already paying a overpriced plan for your new phone.
But as the way of selling phone change, the ones offering bundles are the manufacturers of the phone as a way to have a edge over the competition and lure you to their phones.
This is good because that means more software updates and things that do work well with your phone.

Nokia is doing this, buy a Nokia 6220 Classic a promise to upgrade your phone software in the future, get the Nokia Maps application and get some Widgets?. yes widgets!, as a way to lure?. that sure is a sign of the times and how widgets are now a expected commodity even in phones.
The widgets Bundle you get is a set of Widsets, Widsets are services widgets by Nokia so you can quickly access and use when you get online with your phone just like in the iphone springboard or as quoted by the nokia 6220 spread sheet:
The pre-loaded WidSets service brings web content directly to the
device via mini-applications called widgets, providing quick and easy
access to news updates, games and web communities.
