I would like to say i am surprised but i am not, because i knew about it but i am finding shocking people find this a shocking development, more in the case of Scoble since he is supposed to be more in the know with things.

Silverlight in mobile is at the same stage silverlight 1.0 in the desktop but now it is in closed beta. i have seen videos of applications using it in mobile. te most notable should be livestation. but i also have seen content widgets that are being tested in the mobile version so i do know for a fact that there wil be widgets not simply because of the desktop version but because i have seen one. so you can count on silverlight Gadgets to come into a WM and Noka branded phones this year.

The reason i am surprised people is surprised is because it seems everyone got a short term memory since you only have to remember last year exclusive Mobile Windows Live suite that debuted first in a Nokia Phone than in a Windows Mobile one. sum that to the statements of microsoft been in constant communication with the finnish company ( at a level you don`t see with any other non-WM provider) and it comes as a no brainer.

so don`t act as surprised if Microsoft offers full support for exchange to nokia or if they get around to port mobile office or at least mobile outlook to them so nokia materializes a WM device in 2008.
