This article unlike the others right now in BusinessWeek is more of like those filler segments in 20/20, 60 minutes or local news where they profile someone raking it in money from a odd job. in this case the odd job is Widget-apps.
I will also want to make clear that the word Widget-app was not invented by me, i read it from someone else and it made sense to me when talking about some of the low end Facebook Apps because they are the ones that pretty much do very little. they display information and accept input of information as plain as it sounds and because they are the kind of Widget you can find in MySpace too.
The articles centers in Ankur Nagpal and how he stroke “widget gold” pushing quizzes in Facebook. now i am glad that i haven’t accepted anyone of his quizzes.
