Gigya Widget Ad Network raises 9.5 millions

In what is without a doubt a new zenith in widget advertising, gigya raised 9.5 millions, something incredible for a Widget Venture with a Widget Ad network that has barely two months.
But then you look at all the partnerships they have made and it all makes sense because all of their partner are also example of success.
I wonder if people will still say that widget are a fad after this?
