SplashCast the Social Customer Experience creator announces multiple apps for the Myspace Developer platform launch.
SplashCast will initially deliver interactive social applications for clients like SonyBMG, Universal Records and Warner Brothers.
These first issue apps feature celebrities such as Snoop Dog, Ashley Tisdale, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Chris Brown.
From what I have seen…the SplashCast apps include the code so anyone that encounters the app and likes it can grab it and add it to their Myspace profile page. This is a cool way to push apps to the viral stage.
Other features include a form of chat and links to various fan resources such as fan sites, stores and of course news about each particular celebrity.

Sphere: Related ContentEach of these SplashCast applications contain dynamically updated video channels programmed by the label, streaming music videos, “lifestyle” (behind the scenes) footage and personal video messages by the artists. They also contain live chat and “fan channels” where users can submit their own favorite photos, songs, & videos (from their cell phone, computer, or pulled from YouTube) to the application and shared by the entire fan community. Each of the SonyBMG apps listed above have already been installed on over 100,000 pages on MySpace, Facebook, and Bebo. By adding these splashcasts to the MySpace / OpenSocial platform and leveraging the social graph, MySpace users will be able to make much deeper connections with other like-minded fans.
