Sprout is now in public beta

Sprout, or Sprout Builder is a WYSIWYG flash Widget Maker that take the prize for being the easiest way to make up your widget up to now.

I haven’t had to much time to play with it and compare with other “comparable” widget making tools. but Derek made a quick review and also made a sample widget with it back when the service first appeared in the spotlight.

For me it is like the easy version of PopFly, even if the focus is different. with the difference that the output here is Flash 9 Widgets instead of Silverlight 1 ones. Sprout in my experience is one of the finest examples of Flex. so it does deserves at least a visit.

The main strong points in Sprout are:

1.-Drag and drop interface with WYSIWYG flex editor
2.-Easy to use,learn and publish
3.-Flash 9 Widget output with High Spread qualities.

I will look more into it to do a recap on the service. but you now don´t need to wait for me to get on that because you can finally visit it and use it by yourselves.
