By now everyone using wordpress must already know that the Wordpress software got updated up to 2.5 in both the hosted and not hosted versions. We have already upgraded here at Widgets Lab and the software does makes a great difference, it is certainly better. the only problem we have right now is making the media uploading to work, everything else does works as it should.
But the most dramatic change is the Wordpress Dashboard. it now comes widgetized with modules in a Startpage fashion that could make you think of the early pageflakes. each installation comes with default wordpress dashboard widgets, but there are more at work and one them is the Stats Dashboard widget, as you can see in the picture posted by Wordpress team:
And surely more will come after that one, so it is nice to know that anyone at wordpress can now count with a customizable dashboard startpage that will make blogging easier.
Every dahsboard widget installs in the same as a plugin so, it is quite easy to use them.
