Orkut OpenSocial Application Platform Launched in India

Orkut, the first failed Social network that later found it`s gold mine in India and Brazil, will be finally launching their App Platform. this app platform is of course based on OpenSocial. and while OpenSocial as a Organization is not controlled by Google but by the OS partners, i can expect Orkut integration of OpenSocial Apps to be different from their counterparts. it remains to be seen what those distinctions will be. but expect to see Orkut as the perfect example of getting most of its app thanks to porting at first.
Orkut users will have a limit of 25 apps per Profile. something i don`t only find acceptable but smart on Google Behalf. 25 apps, widgets or widgets-app are MORE than enough.
The Orkut team also made a video showing a quick tour on how you add a Orkut App and it shows very good, i see it as seamless as doing it in Facebook and i am liking what they are doing with the Orkut Profile Layout.
Now, what i truly would like to know is if Google plans to integrate full iGoogle Gadgets support into Orkut as is gearing to do so in Blogger this year?. that integration would truly make orkut a compelling offer. of course that even more can be added to orkut in due time, given Google can make Orkut App versions for all their services if they wanted or just let users do them by themselves. i aim for the later approach to happen quickly and even better of what google would offer as a official app.
