So, you are one of those who are truly conscious about back ups, remote file sharing and what not?. do you got a Windows Home Server then?. cool. then you are going to like these Vista Sidebar Gadgets. They are meant for those who got a Windows Home Server. and also because there are not many of them…..yet.
These Two First Windows Home Server gadgets were developed by Donavon West. someone who is a actual Windows Gadget Developer. so he maybe be a bit ahead of most on how make these Gadgets not only look nice but work nice. the difference is that he made these for his own use and he then decided to share them out of the love he got for his Home Sever. but that kindly has shared these “spare time projects” with all.
Home Server Blogs Gadget
One of the first things you need once you have already set up your Windows Home Server is some good info about its updates, hacks, tricks and tweaks. and yes you would be able to search for the blog separately and then do a mixed feed of them. but what is the fun in that when there is a little Vista Siderbar Gadget to do all the Job for you?.
Yeah, as simple and self explanatory as its name. this is a gadget to keep track on the latest and most relevant info for Homer Server users.
It is a ticket news style gadget that can be resized and that scrolls the news from a pool Windows Home Server related Blogs

ShareMaster Home Server Gadget
Or simply ShareMaster Gadget if you will.
This Gadget is more advanced than the previous one. it allows you to quickly move around files to your Shared Home Server Folders or take files from them by opening the specific Share Folder Windows..
“The gadget has six icons representing the standard shares: Music, Photos, Public, Software, Users and Videos. The Users share relies on setting of your username in the Settings dialog (see Other Features below).”
But it not only allows you to Open the Share Folders but you can also Drag and drop your files directly into the Gadget as shown below.
A much more refined Gadget that lets you economize space and not add clutter to your desktop by having the common Home Server Shared Folder accessible from a Gadget. something useful and THE must have Gadget for Home Server users.
