TripTouch, a cool travel widget for iGoogle and Netvibes
Whether you are a world traveler or just take local jaunts, TripTouch does the location research for you.
TripTouch delivers links to places to eat, local events, hotels/motels, transportation and more. Local images are included in the widget as well.
Simply add this widget to your Netvibes or iGoogle page and every time you log into your page you will be presented with information related to your current location.
Unfortunately the locations are not as close as I would like. My current location is being listed for a city that is over 50 miles away. It is simple enough to change your location in the widget.
I would like to see a Wiki ability to the information presented in the widget or in general in the TripTouch service. Local information should come from the locals.
TripTouch offers affiliate comissions for bookings made through the widget that you can host on your blog.
