Tree hugging:
This helps reduce the number of webpages that are printed for sharing purposes. In turn this reduces the number of trees dedicated to your personal paper footprint.

iTunes tie in:
It appears that ECO-SAFE has partnered with iTunes to help generate interest in their environmentally friendly widget. This is the only possibility because I can’t see ECO-SAFE being able to afford to buy every user a song from iTunes.
If you place the badge on your blog…simply send them a link to your blog with the widget running and you get free music.
