Slide prepping up for the new Facebook

To prove everyone that they are not Fad and want to be here for the long haul. Slide has decided to stop developing new facebook apps and widget-apps and is going to concentrate into make what they have better and ready to the Facebook changes to come. because, while they are in the top of the Facebook platform food chain. they know that if they slow down the pace in the way they have been monetizing all their operation. valuation momentum for the company will evaporate in a manner of weeks.
It is true that Slide is in high ground compared to others and also compared to others they will not fall. but when you have such a huge valuation as them. just slowing down could be way hard to take without stumbling.
The most interesting part is to see if the changes in Facebook will change the game of facebook apps from fun rules to useful rules.. unlikely but at least i hope we get to see slide trying to release a “serious” app or widget-app in Facebook.
