Paltalk for those that don`t know it. is a enterprise and paid consumer services for chat room conferences that includes the support of webcams, audio, messaging, etc. in a desktop client. that desktop client also counts with multi protocol IM features thrown into it that is very complete.
They now have launched a web version of it that for a lack of a better description it is like “Yahoo Live†but just that done right. and that maybe the reason they have decided to get out their web version.
It is all built with Flex 3.0. it is very high end and also use a Java applet along. this of course means that it is load heavy and ram consuming. i tried out and found it great even then. also considering the Beta state of the service.
They have already promised widgets. i just hope they come done in Flex too. we really need to see more high end widgets more often.

You can already give it a go. i fully recommend it since i have been a paltalk user for almost10 years now. in other words. since they launched. if you want to check how great paltalk is is just check some stats from the service here
and if you pass. lets just say that they once had a chat room conference with almost 10,000 users in the chatroom. i am really glad that Paltalk is now coming to the FREE and ad supported web consumer side with such a powerful web app.
