WidgetBucks nets $10 million in series B

total series B funding is $20 million from Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Ignition Partners

WidgetBucks claims 100 million uniques in May. this Comscore report puts it more like 10 million.
WB claims that their tracking differs greatly from that of Comscore’s in that the WB tracking is global where Comscore is mainly U.S.
Even so, the U.S. is by far the largest online market (for now) this tells us that the world accounts for 90% of WB’s traffic.
This might seem a bit suspect. But who better to report the glossy facts than the one that benefits the most?

These are really customizable, interactive widget that act as advertising.

I can see where their popularity comes from, but they will need to iron out all the wrinkles from the past bad publicity regarding suspended accounts and dropped payments to publishers.
