This is the same Silverlight 2 Video Player i wrote about before as being a free packaged Silverlight Video and that was Open Source to boot as a viable alternative solution to build your own Silverlight Video Player or using a Expression Studio generated one.
The SL2 Video Player is now at 1.0.0 Beta. so it seems like they are now only waiting for Silverlight 2.0 final to hit in order to release the final version of it.
The SL2 Video Player 1.0.0 Beta feature are:
1.-Support for streaming video
2.-Startup Parameters
- 2.1.-MediaElement Source
2.2.-Autostart
2.3.-Thumbnail - 3.-Re-sizable / Scalable
4.-Full screen Playback
5.-TimeLine Marker Support - 6.-Video Bookmarks
As you can see, it is not your run of the mill Silverlight Video Player. the last detail is that it got a look refresh and now it is a cool looking mix of the Vimeo video player and Viddler video player styles. i think it looks great. i like it even more.
One of the most significant changes i could note with this release is that the performance is noticeably better and that it provides a quite smooth video playing experience.

*Update*: Joel Neubeck kindly stopped by to tell me they have added Video Bookmarking to SL2 video Player. i decided to add it here because it was faily new.
we added a new feature to the Silverlight 2 Video player on CodePlex that would allow users to create an external list of “bookmarksâ€, that would link to a specific marker or moment in playback. The idea would be to have a series of links outside of Silverlight, that once clicked, playback would jump to that moment in the video.
