As little resume of what happened with facebook that is more relevant to app developers and widget-app developers all thanks to Nick O`Neill from AllFacebook.com reports:
Facebook changes app statistics for active users measurement from daily to monthly:
Facebook has made a significant change to their application reporting metrics. Rather than displaying daily active users, applications now report monthly active users. Previously, Facebook reported application statistics on a daily basis, leading to the creation of Adonomics. Adonomics provided daily reports for all the applications by scraping Facebook’s application pages.

Facebook releases new metrics tools to offer developers better analytics data
“Yesterday, Facebook announced the addition of new metrics for all applications. There is now a “features” tab which provides “total counts for user actions including canvas page views, clicks on profile boxes, confirmation of Feed forms, and, the adding and removing of bookmarks.” It’s great to see Facebook building out their analytics services and I’m somewhat surprised that it has taken them this long to add these features.”

There you have it. good news for Facebook App and Widget-App developers overall this should allow for a little compensation from the ground they have now lost with the facebook redesign.
